Pricing shown on this page is not a guaranteed final total. All pricing displayed represents starting service deposits used to begin the project review process and reserve production time.
After checkout, Wolf Claw will review your submitted project details, artwork, material, part condition, coating type, engraving size, placement, and production requirements. If additional work, preparation, finishing, or machine time is required, a final invoice will be sent before production begins. Any payment made through Shopify will be applied toward the final invoice total.
If the final production pricing is not approved, the order may be canceled before production and payment may be returned.
Every material reacts differently to laser engraving. Final results may vary depending on alloy composition, hardness, coatings, prior use, surface preparation, and manufacturing variation.
Used or previously installed parts may show inconsistencies in finish or engraving response. Factory coatings such as anodizing, Cerakote, paint, plating, or protective finishes may react unpredictably during the engraving process.
Color shift, tonal variation, contrast differences, and surface response inconsistencies are normal. No two engravings will appear completely identical.
Pre-owned or previously handled parts carry inherent variables that may affect engraving results.
Scratches, wear, embedded oils, corrosion, prior refinishing, polishing, coating buildup, or hidden imperfections may become more visible during or after engraving. Previously coated or refinished surfaces may engrave unevenly or respond differently across the material.
Wolf Claw is not responsible for pre-existing surface conditions, hidden imperfections, or cosmetic inconsistencies resulting from prior use.
Deep and 3D engraving permanently alters the material structure.
This process removes protective surface layers and exposes raw metal beneath the original finish. Minor texture variation, surface inconsistency, or tonal changes inside engraved areas are normal and expected.
Depth engraving prioritizes durability, depth, texture, and visual impact over perfectly uniform surface appearance.
Bare or exposed metal may oxidize over time.
Deep or aggressive engraving may increase the likelihood of corrosion depending on environmental exposure, humidity, handling conditions, cleaning chemicals, and long-term maintenance.
To help reduce this risk:
While these protective measures significantly reduce corrosion potential, no process can guarantee permanent rust prevention.
Protective finishing is part of the engraving process.
Paint fill may be applied to improve visibility and help protect engraved areas. Clear coat may also be applied to reduce environmental exposure and surface oxidation.
Minor variation in paint fill level, edge sharpness, sheen, texture, or coating appearance may occur. Over time, normal wear from handling, friction, solvents, cleaning products, and environmental exposure may affect the finish.
Paint fill and clear coating are protective enhancements and are not permanent or maintenance-free finishes.
Laser engraving uses concentrated controlled heat.
Some materials or coatings may discolor, burn, fade, react, or change appearance during engraving. Slight heat discoloration around engraved areas may occur depending on the material and finish.
In rare cases, thin or delicate components may experience minor warping or material movement during processing.
Laser engraving removes material.
Deep engraving reduces material thickness within engraved areas. Structural integrity is generally not affected on non-critical surfaces; however, customers are solely responsible for ensuring submitted parts are safe and appropriate for engraving.
Wolf Claw reserves the right to refuse engraving on any part deemed structurally sensitive, unsafe, or high-risk.
Not all artwork translates perfectly to engraved metal surfaces.
Extremely fine details, ultra-thin lines, microscopic textures, or excessive complexity may require modification for clarity, durability, machine capability, or material limitations.
High-detail artwork may be optimized, simplified, or adjusted to achieve the cleanest and most durable final result possible.
Wolf Claw prioritizes clean execution, readability, durability, and production quality over exact digital replication.
All customer-supplied items are submitted at the customer’s own risk.
Wolf Claw is not responsible for damage, cosmetic changes, finish variation, or unexpected material response involving rare, irreplaceable, collectible, sentimental, discontinued, or high-value items.
Minor cosmetic changes are inherent to the engraving process. Original factory condition cannot be guaranteed after engraving or material removal.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring all submitted parts comply with local, state, and federal law.
Serialized components will only be engraved within applicable legal guidelines. Wolf Claw reserves the right to refuse any item, design, modification request, or project at its sole discretion.
By submitting a request, approving an invoice, placing a deposit order, or providing materials for engraving, you acknowledge and agree that:
By proceeding with your order, you accept all risks associated with custom laser engraving, material removal, coating response, heat exposure, finishing variation, and long-term wear.
