1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing this website, submitting a request, approving a quote, or engaging services with Wolf Claw Engraving, you (“Customer,” “Client,” “User”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not use this website or services.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

Wolf Claw Engraving provides mobile and in-shop laser engraving services including, but not limited to:


  • Metal engraving (fiber laser)

  • Wood, plastic, leather, and glass engraving (CO₂ laser)

  • Deep engraving, surface marking, and 3D engraving

  • Custom artwork preparation and design

  • Dealer and bulk production services

All services are performed on either:


  • Customer-supplied materials, or

  • Materials provided by the Company when applicable

3. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MATERIALS (HIGH LIABILITY SECTION)

3.1 Assumption of Risk

Customer acknowledges and agrees:


  • All engraving is performed at the Customer’s sole risk

  • Materials may react unpredictably to laser processes

  • Coatings, alloys, finishes, and prior treatments may affect results

3.2 No Guarantee of Outcome

The Company does NOT guarantee:


  • Exact color, shade, or contrast (including white marks)

  • Depth consistency across surfaces

  • Material integrity post-engraving

  • Compatibility with coatings, paints, or finishes

3.3 Damage Waiver

Customer waives all claims against the Company for:


  • Warping

  • Burning or discoloration

  • Surface defects

  • Structural weakening

  • Coating failure

  • Cracking or breakage

4. DESIGN APPROVAL & FINAL AUTHORIZATION

Before production, Customer is responsible for:


  • Reviewing all artwork, spelling, layout, and placement

  • Confirming scale and positioning

Once approved:


  • The job is considered FINAL

  • No changes can be made

  • The Company is NOT liable for errors after approval

5. FIREARM & CONTROLLED ITEM POLICY

5.1 Compliance Responsibility

Customer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:


  • Federal law (including ATF regulations)

  • State and local firearm laws

5.2 No Legal Advice

The Company does NOT provide legal advice regarding firearm modifications, engraving requirements, or compliance.

5.3 Refusal Rights

The Company reserves the right to refuse any job involving:


  • Illegal modifications

  • Suspicious requests

  • Items requiring licensure the Company does not hold

6. ENGRAVING RISKS (CRITICAL DISCLOSURE)

Customer understands that:


  • Deep engraving may expose raw metal

  • Exposed metal may be susceptible to corrosion or rust

  • Heat from engraving may alter material properties

Customer assumes full responsibility for:


  • Post-processing

  • Protective coatings

  • Long-term durability

7. PRICING, QUOTES, & PAYMENT

7.1 Quotes

All quotes:


  • Are estimates only

  • Subject to change upon inspection

  • May vary based on material behavior

7.2 Payment Terms


  • Payment may be required in full before work begins

  • Deposits are non-refundable once production starts

7.3 No Minimum Policy

While no minimum charge exists, all jobs include setup costs.

8. RUSH SERVICE

Rush service:


  • Moves your job ahead of others

  • Does NOT guarantee a specific completion time

  • Is subject to approval and additional fees

9. TURNAROUND TIMES


  • All turnaround times are estimates only

  • Delays may occur due to:


    Material issues


    Equipment limitations


    Volume of work


    Environmental conditions


The Company is not liable for delays.

10. DEALER PROGRAM TERMS (HIGH PROTECTION)

Dealer participation is subject to:


  • Approval by the Company

  • Ongoing performance and volume expectations

  • Revocation at any time without notice

The Company reserves the right to:


  • Adjust dealer status

  • Modify discounts

  • Terminate dealer relationships at its sole discretion

No dealer pricing or status is guaranteed.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

11.1 Customer Responsibility

Customer warrants that they:


  • Own the rights to submitted designs, logos, or artwork

  • Have permission to reproduce any submitted content

11.2 Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims related to:


  • Copyright infringement

  • Trademark violations

  • Unauthorized use of intellectual property

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (CRITICAL)

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Company shall NOT be liable for:


  • Indirect damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of profit or business

  • Damage to customer property

Maximum Liability Cap:

Total liability shall NOT exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

13. INDEMNIFICATION

Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company from:


  • Claims arising from use of engraved items

  • Misuse or modification of products

  • Legal violations involving customer-supplied items

14. REFUNDS & RETURNS

Due to the custom nature of services:


  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL

  • No refunds once engraving has begun

  • No returns on custom work

Exceptions are at the Company’s sole discretion.

15. MOBILE OPERATIONS & ON-SITE SERVICES

For mobile services:


  • Customer must provide safe and suitable working conditions

  • The Company may refuse service if conditions are unsafe

The Company is not responsible for:


  • Site conditions

  • Environmental interference

  • Access limitations

16. EQUIPMENT & PROCESS DISCLOSURE

Customer acknowledges:


  • Laser engraving uses high heat and precision machinery

  • Variations are inherent in the process

  • Results may differ from digital previews

17. WEBSITE USE

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access

  • Interfere with website functionality

18. PRIVACY

Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

19. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company is not liable for failure or delay due to:


  • Natural disasters

  • Power outages

  • Equipment failure

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Government actions

20. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of:

State of Connecticut

22. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes shall be:


  • Resolved through binding arbitration, or

  • Filed in courts located in Connecticut

Customer agrees to waive class action participation.
